A mother's work is not valued currently, it is ludicrous I am paying thousands to childcare to then go to work to pay for childcare

New mothers and 2or 3rd time mothers need good enough support particularly if it’s been a traumatic birth or before that a v stressful pregnancy. And more so if the woman is a single mother but not just then. A phone number to ring? Email address to write to? Website to see. Automatically sent to women who’ve given birth before six weeks check. The message that to feel awful and can’t cope is OK. The message that support is out there is near by is good to access is OK. Good luck.

Because If nothing else, this crisis shows us that caring for our youngest and eldest needs to be recognised and UBI would go a long way in recognising this.

My daughter in law is expecting a baby in a few weeks. All expectant women need support especially at this time.
