Depression and anxiety and food disorders and self harm are big problems in the world at the moment. Thousands of people in the uk end their lives by committing suicide each year. A lot of teenagers and adults suffer with depression and anxiety. Social media is one of the key area with problems. Lots of teenagers get cyber bullied which can lead to depression and food disorders and self harm. On social media a lot your teenagers compare there self’s to other people. Teenagers feel they are not pretty enough and that they are too fat and wish they was thin and skinny. But no one is perfect everyone should love each other but most importantly they should love thereselfs because everyone is beautiful.

I think schools and colleges should have a quiet place where you can go to Meditate and relax and not to worry about daily life and also to take your mind off what’s worrying you . Also so people can socialise and make friends so they don’t feel lonely.

I have had mental health problems, I have struggled with low mood and negative thoughts and I still do but I am using a book which is by Katie piper and it’s called your year of positive thinking, confidence the journal. It will help me to think positive instead of negatively. And to have confidence.

i think it is really important to talk about mental health because it can help people to not commit suicide and save thousands of lives because people lives matter. And it’s also important so people can be aware and understand mental health.
