As we all know, on 1st July Pubg Mobile was temporarily banned in Pakistan due to several cases of suicide in the country which were somehow related to the game. It was also stated that the game is addictive and has a negative impact on the children. I'd like to propose that a game which is played for recreational purposes can't be the only cause of suicide and there are so many factors that cause someone to take this step. Mental Illness has always been ignored in Pakistan and depression is never taken seriously here. Even if not being able to play pubg was the reason of the child's suicide, banning the game just makes the situation worst. Especially nowadays when we have nothing to do in lockdown Pubg was a game that helped us a lot and not only for passing time but also as a way to be connected to our friends. Every year so many students commit suicide because of exams, results, pressure from parents etc. But this doesn't mean we ban exams. Everything has it's advantages and disadvantages. We appreciate PTA's concern but request that this ban is lifted as soon as possible.
