Electric bus technology is well within financial reach of public transit operations. There is no good reason to keep fossil fuel burning buses in a modern fleet.

As a commuter in Pinellas County, I urge PSTA to vote in favor of electric buses. Besides the environmental and health benefits, EV buses make economic sense because of the much lower maintenance and fuel costs. Tourism will also be enhanced by reduced air and noise pollution. Set an example for other communities in the Tampa Bay region!
