PSE&G plans to run new 65ft tall 69,000v high voltage power lines through the residential streets of Cranford as well as adding a new sub station at 750 Walnut ave.  

The proposed project would run along Lexington Ave, Chester Lang Pl, Walnut Ave, Lincoln Ave, Meeker Ave, and South Ave. Along that route is Walnut Ave School, Lincoln School and the Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim. Walnut Ave school also has a field where the Cranford LAX Soccer club and PAL football leagues play, as well as a neighborhood playground.

How do high voltage lines negatively impact Cranford?

• Compromised Health and Safety
• Plummeting Property Values
• Destruction of Trees

If there is even a 1% chance that the health of a resident could be impacted, how do we allow this? Why are these lines being run down RESIDENTIAL streets?

Please help fight to have these lines re-routed down commercial streets where our residents and children will not be harmed.
