We / residents of Prince Edward Island request the Provincial Government of Prince Edward Island close the Confederation Bridge to all non-essential traffic and personal immediately to protect Islanders from a viral threat 

We request the Government of Prince Edward Island, and more directly our transportation Minister Stephen Myers to protect Islanders by
setting up screening checkpoints at all provincial entry points including airports to control the spread of COVID-19.
"Unnecessary travel should no longer be permitted, non-residents entering the province should be asked to leave unless they have an essential reason to visit our Island. Hospital, Doctor appointment, critical ill or deceased family member, etc
We request Officers be stationed at the P.E.I. borders and be authorized to turn away non-essential travelers.
Anyone allowed into the province will be ordered to self-isolate for 14 days.
All Islanders may leave for essential reasons stated above and all must isolate for 14 days upon returning to the island.
Everyone permitted to enter the Island will have there information stored in case of any further rising issues. The protection of all Islanders must be a top priority in the wake of this Pandemic.
