A big problem that has occurred over time in British Columbia is the rapid increasing rate of car insurances. The prices seem outrageous compared to the rest of the country,  and it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to be able to afford it in British Columbia.  This, along with the outrageous prices of our homes, income taxes (which are the highest in the country), property taxes, and spikes in utility bills is already bad enough. The addition of car insurance with its new rates and regulations from ICBC is just an outrageous add on!! The drive behind this petition is so that we can bring it to the attention of our provincial government, so they can be more aware of this issue, and do something about it to bring it down and to make it comparable to the rest of the provinces across the country like Alberta, Ontario, and even Quebec. Plus, think of the new drivers and their insurance rates. How much they would have to pay just to go to school and work. How much of their annual part time income is really being saved if they have to keep up with these crazy costs?? Please sign this petition if you agree that our ICBC insurance rates should be bought down to a much more reasonable and affordable rate. Let’s bring this to the attention of the BC MPs, who can bring the attention to our Provincial Government, and make BC insurance more affordable. Thank-you for your support!!
