Miramichi is in desperate need of a new facility to replace two existing recreational facilities (LBA rink and Golden Hawk). The city of Miramichi has put a lot of money on the table to support this, but we can't get it done without help from the province.

Replacing the two facilities with a new Multiplex would save the city money on operational costs, lower GHG emissions, create more tourism through sport tournaments and concerts and give people of Miramichi and surrounding areas a sense of pride in their recreational facility. 

Currently there are two by-elections happening in the Miramichi and surrounding areas. Two of the Conservative MLA candidates have not publicly stated that they will fight for funding of the Multiplex. 

We need to send a message to Blaine Higgs that we've waited long enough. He needs to know that a Multiplex isn't simply a want, but a desperate need.
