What is possibly more important than equality?

I refuse to develop into a young woman who walks into an industry and is paid less than a man. Research displays woman play a greater roll in responsibilities such as providing for children, due to this factor many woman have to work part time at the most, however these jobs are typically lower paid, with little opportunities for raises. Instead of financial aid due to extra care, woman are valued as less. These factors stem from misogyny and attitudes from stereotypes. Woman are so much more than assistance, or individuals who sit on the sidelines and watch. Absolutely not. Progress in closing this pay gap has unfortunately stalled and hasn’t changed in the last 3 years. We need significant government action! You must ask yourself what psychological impact this may have upon any woman in an industry. It doesn’t matter how long this process takes, as long as we have gained justice.
