In this generation, mental health is becoming one of the major problems our society deals with but unfortunately, it is given inadequate attention. Mental health problems often start at an early age and one of the major factors that contributes to the overall well-being of an individual is the environment he/she is in. Schools should be able to provide enough mental health resources, with the help of the government, to cater to the concerned students and be able to respond to their needs. Philippines, being a third world country, prioritizes other prevalent issues and therefore allots little to none of the overall health budgets for providing enough mental health resources. Mental health resources are supposed to be accessible to those in need and is equally important as other health issues.
