Provide Infertility Coverage to UofM Employees
This petition had 592 supporters
Reproduction is a fundamental process of the human body, yet when an employee of the University of Michigan is diagnosed with infertility, they will not have medical coverage for infertility treatments.
Already, 15 states have mandated some form of infertility treatment coverage by insurance, and competitive universities outside of those states offer their employees coverage for infertility treatments.
It is time for the University of Michigan to recognize infertility as a disease worthy enough to merit coverage in our medical benefits plans, especially since so many women and men have sacrificed their reproductive years in service to their career at the University of Michigan.
Sign this petition to advocate that the University of Michigan cover infertility treatments for employees!
