I'm signing this as a protest against all the structures built by the blood, sweat, tears, hunger, sufferings, lives of POWs so the conquerors advance their evil.

I'm signing because the author of this implied this was meant to be a joke--just in case the UN really sees this--I want them to know just like the pyramid threat no one really wants it gone. I'm happy to see things honoring the confederacy go (although I wish they were gone through a more democratic process), but now things are getting destroyed that are totally unrelated, stand for the opposite, or have something to teach us and the UN needs to emphasize that countries need to rise above just training workers and consider social studies as integral to education--that will help end prejudice and avoid mistakes of the past. How is this any different than the book burning done by Pol Pot?

I'm signing this purely in protest (plus even a million signatures would never make this happen) how can anyone think that destroying a part of history belonging to a completely different civilisation over 1500 years a go is making a stand? The last gladiatorial contest was in 404 AD. Tearing down the Colosseum would only be destroying a part of human history, leave it as a testament to how far the human race has come in regards to human rights and decency. Stop being ridiculous

Tear it all down. There will be no justice until our minds are completely scrubbed clean of every lessons that could possibly be learnt from history!

I like to support ridiculous things, and it proves a stupid point about how stupid society has become.
