Manchester MI is a beautiful farm town with an abundance of wildlife and rolling hills. The proposed Thorn Lake Solar Project plans to turn 159 acres into a large scale solar facility. This property backs up to many residential houses who will be greatly effected by the aesthetics of these 16’ high solar panels. In addition, property values could be greatly affected, as many people, including myself, would not buy property knowing they would have a view of thousands of solar panels, barbed wire fences, and hazard signs.  Solar facilities also let off electromagnetic radiation where the mass amount of power is stored, which can be extremely dangerous for local Manchester residents, as this has been a known cancer causer. Please sign this petition in protest of Thorn Lake Solar Project and help us keep Manchester the beautiful farm town that it currently is for its residents, wildlife, and children.
