On 24 February 2022, Russia launched a murderous and unprovoked large-scale military invasion of Ukraine, an independent  democratic country. Russia is bombing Ukrainian cities, aiming at schools, hospitals, residential areas. It is a mass killing of Ukrainian people, millions have been misplaced as a result of the attack, hundreds died, including children. 

It appears that the operation was planned and Russian citizens were planted in Ukraine to prepare to the operation. The tactic adopted by Russia is to destroy the nation. Russia is a terrorist country and civilised world must be protected.   

Russia is a threat to the civilised world, its citizens largely support the war and acceptance of Russian citizens put a threat on the states and its people. Putin does not seem to be willing to give up on his ambitions to build an "empire", and he will not stop on Ukraine. And consequences of this are lives of hundreds of people, not only in Ukraine, but in other previously invaded by Russia counties. Russia is a threat to democracy and freedom.

As part of the sanctions already in place, we require to stop granting EU and UK visas to all Russian citizens, not only to individuals under sanctions, to ensure the safety of people.
