I'm a young trans girl in the state of Texas. As of Halloween (I know it was a month ago) in 2021 I was called names and slurs in my school in my small town for wearing a skirt to school. Nothing was done by the principal to stop the bullying and I have been called names and slurs ever since. It is a huge issue, especially for those who are not as lucky as I am. It's a huge harm to students mental health when the schools tell them they care and they do nothing about bullying. I am doing this petition to try and bring it up to my school district and to do a presentation about it in schools around Texas.
