I'm signing because whistleblowing helped me in trying to protect my partner after he's suffered multiple abuses in a care home. The whistleblowers took risks, and I'm unable to find out what's happening to them. They need protection.

almost all whistle blowers get the sack and can not protect the people they look after we must protect the people who speak out

I also see regular cover-ups of illegality and incompetence inherent in the Continuing Healthcare system. I want to help bring justice to those affected in all Govt organisations.

I'm signing because I've seen so many reports by CQC about care homes being "Inadequate" or "Requiring Improvement" but then ABSOLUTELY NOTHING being done about it. The whistleblowers deserve to be heard to try and make the government actually do something about it.

I read Eileen Chubb's book 'Beyond the Facade' about absolutely chilling abuse within a BUPA care home and how every effort was made by BUPA to deny justice to those abused. And how Eileen Chubb and other carers fought on against all odds to defend the vulnerable elderly and to blow the whistle on the abuse. Anyone who cares about the protection of elderly people in care homes and those abused in any other sector must sign this petition so whistleblowers are protected.

Because I am totally behind the just cause for Edna, and behind justice of dignity and kindness of care for the elderly.
Having gone through poor and undignified care for my late mother in a nursing home.
