This is a petition that is pretty self explanatory. It is sad that is has to come to the point where a petition is even needed for something such as. I feel this is something that should have already been handled and in schools a long time ago. Our kids deserve the protection and the right to feel safe going to school where the main objective is for these children to better their education and knowledge on life. 

We need to put metal detectors in these schools.

These tragedy school shootings have happened far too many times now, in many different locations, wherefore these children should not be able to manage getting weapons of ANY sort on school grounds. What more is it going to take for the world to wake up and protect our schools as they should be? This is a nationwide problem that we all face and we all have to live in fear as not only children, but parents and teachers as well. Wake up America! Where is our tax money going? For one, Oakland County is one of the richest counties known.

Children should not have to live in fear and worry about what is going to happen and where, next. These are innocent childrens' lives being taken. And the kids and the people who think it's funny are just sickening. This stuff is serious and is in no way, shape, or form a laughing matter. These are our babies! These kids are the future! And we as people need to come together and make a change. This type of behavior starts with ignorance and it's sad that these types of things take to social media and end up going viral in the most negative of ways. One school shooting should not lead to multiple and many threats at surrounds school districts. This is not a joke and is something that needs to be taken very seriously and to its extreme.

Let's as people, act upon this now and do something about it! Stand up for our children, our babies. Let's make America great again! Let's do the necessary!

PROTECT OUR FUTURE!!!

This problem is affecting mainly our children, but also the educational community as a whole. If this doesn't go through, many more lives could be at risk. It doesn't only affect my children, but all of America. This is a nationwide problem that should have been settled with the first school shooting. These drills are not enough, barricading classrooms does not save lives. Hiding under desks does not save lives. The governor and government is who has the power to make such changes, and it would be nice to see them step up and take action against something that matters most!

These kids are our future, they are innocent and deserve to be able to go to school in peace. They do not need to have to worry about violence and should not have to fear for their lives in any classroom or school hallway. 

Lets try and get these schools to secure the entrances and exits of our schools! Let's act as a team on this and do the right thing. Let's do the necessary and make change!
