Ajith Senanayaka Amathadamma started this petition to President of India Ram Nath Kovind and

Many thousands of birds come to Sri Lanka from North countries in winter time. They live in natural jungle in the north east coast of Sri Lanka. When the winter is over the birds fly back to home. We are BUDDHIST PEOPLE so we love and protect them like our own birds.

Unfortunately these innocent birds will be destroyed by American soldiers who are trying to establish a naval base in Trincomalee which is located in the north east coast of Sri Lanka where the migratory birds come and land. Because Americans will store heavy weapons and they will put up run - ways for landing huge military  air crafts. Thousands of acres of land with flora and fauna will be bulldosed as a result there will not be any jungle for birds to land.

For millions of years these birds used to fly here and there. It was their right given by the nature. NO ONE HAS A RIGHT TO DESTROY IT. EVERY BEING HAS A RIGHT TO EXIST ON THIS EARTH.

Therefore let us protect INNOCENT BIRDS. Take whatever the action to stop granting of a naval base in Srilanka, Trincomalee. Please influence THE  PRESIDENT OF SRI LANKA.

MAY ALL BEINGS BE HAPPY!
