The centralised monopoly of press & media in Scotland's second city has led to the mass diffusion of Glaswegian "Weegie culture" into the wider National consciousness. This has led to the dilution of its integrity and authenticity.  Much as the French (in the Treaty of Versailles) sought to protect the use of the term "Champagne" to refer only to Champagne made with the traditional methods of grapes and wine in the Champagne region of France. We request that the Scottish Government protect Weegie culture by limiting and containing it to the area detailed on the accompanying map.
