The £469m shortfall is three times its annual budget, and £275m of taxpayers' money will be lost as a result, it borrowed millions of pounds from other council to invest and now has a debt of £1.5bn
Thurrock Residents have seen increased Council tax rises.
loss of police stations, day care centres, nurseries, libraries, street cleaning services,
the council have been selling properties to other councils to offset the debt at a cost to local people who are in need of housing.
this will effect Thurrock residents for years to come,
Ms Carpenter will be entitled to her pension, this is wrong
she needs to be accountable for her actions
