As a hard-working citizen, I have always been taught to save and purchase property as an investment to assist with the funding of my future retirement which is what I tried to do. I paid my mortgages off over many years, rates and taxes, and services that have cost a fortune and have had hefty increases along the way only to experience the disgusting attitude of people who rent your property. The leases are not worth the paper they are written on. Tenants can sign a year's lease, move into your property, pay rent for a few months and then STOP PAYING! Absolutely DESTROY the property, so it costs the owner, thousands to renovate and clean up and they get away with it.

WHY DO WE HAVE NO authority to evict them unless you spend thousands with attorneys who can take up to a year to get a tenant out of your property, and you STILL have to pay rates and services while the process continues. HOW do they get away with living FREE on a property you have slogged your heart out for over many years to pay off the bonds that take some times 25 years because of the interest that is charged. The excuses and stories are beyond belief as to why the rent has not been paid and you have NO RIGHT to evict them off your property! The criminal has all the rights.

In my wildest dreams, I never imagined this could happen. As a child growing up I remember my father having three jobs to pay the rent FIRST, before we had a morsel of food on our table. WHAT RIGHTS DO WE HAVE when we have purchased a property and we have unscrupulous people take it over with not a care in the world as to how the costs will be paid. Because the property is in your name, thousands can be run up on services and you are responsible, not the tenant who is not paying a cent to squat on your land. If a contract is signed and broken then surely you have the right to expect people to get off your property without going to expensive attorneys. My once valued assets are worth nothing and are costing me more to own because rates and taxes and services STILL have to be paid even though I am not receiving any rent.

PLEASE, IS THERE SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT HAS AN ANSWER TO THIS DISGUSTING PRACTISE OF CRIPPLING PEOPLE WHO OWN PROPERTY AND HAVE PAID THEIR DUES OVER MANY YEARS, TO STOP THIS RIDICULOUS PRACTICE OF STEALING FROM PEOPLE WHO OWN PROPERTY??? HOW DO WE CHANGE THE LAWS THAT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN? WHY DO OWNERS HAVE NO RIGHTS TO PROTECT THEIR PROPERTY AND THEIR INVESTMENTS? SURELY ITS TIME TO STAND UP AND FIGHT THIS DISGUSTING PRACTICE!
