The Groves neighborhood was established in the 1950’s and named after the beautiful grove of established trees that graced the land. We are blessed to live within some of the grandest oak canopies in Mt. Pleasant. These historic trees that are protected through our town ordinances should be protected from the butchering of Dominion Energy. Burying our power lines would not only protect the trees but would ensure a reliable source of power for the residents of The Groves.
