Over the last few years, the majority of Etteridge/Park Lakes East residents, have had numerous complaints concerning the LACK of Security Patrol for our neighborhood. 

With your help, I want to request that the POA of Balmoral, cancel our portion of the Security Contract, as it is not the best use of our funds.

The Security, with its limited ability to patrol all three subdivisions, has proven to be unproductive, as it has not reduced the amount of crime in our area. 

For example, we had multiple brazen attempts, as well as successful vehicle thefts in the past year. Recently, we also had strangers arrive and shoot bb guns at children playing outside. Not to mention the constant speeding, and out of control ATV riders putting residents and their property in danger.

None of these acts were addressed or witnessed by the Security Patrol.  Speaking of my own experience, I have only witnessed a patrol car on our street once, in the last year and a half of owning in Etteridge, and this was only on a Holiday that they didn't want residents popping fireworks.

If the Security's presence is not noticeable to residents, how will it deter criminals in our area?

I ask that we remove the Security altogether, and decrease our annual budget. This will allow room for necessary upgrades or other community needs as they arise.
