Currently the Government definition of Domestic Abuse is:
"Any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive, threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are, or have been, intimate partners or family members regardless of gender or sexuality. The abuse can encompass, but is not limited to:
As a team of 15-17 year olds we feel that Domestic Abuse affects everyone at any age and can cause damage that will last a lifetime this is why we think the definition should be changed to include everyone. Especially as domestic abuse can occur in teenage relationships.
