Vaping in New Zealand is a big health issue, vaping helps smokers quit although many have begun vaping without any history of smoking. Nicotine can lead to a nicotine addiction which can negatively impact an individual's life alongside their health. As a group we are trying to enforce prohibiting the display of e-cigarette products in everyday retail stores as this would impact the sustainability of the future by preventing minors and youth from continuing to vape or starting to vape. This doesn't mean vapes wont be sold, it just means that only specialist vape retailers will be allowed to display the products, therefore dairies, supermarkets and other miscellaneous stores won't be allowed to display the products.
