Profits from College Athletics Can Benefit Academic Programs at SDSU!

It's no secret Division 1 college athletic programs are making record profits. At the same time, College admission costs at these same schools have never been higher. It's time for the profits generated by these athletic departments to benefit academic programs, and SDSU has a tremendous opportunity to make this happen.
SDSU has the opportunity to decide on the naming rights for their home football stadium, formerly known as Qualcomm Stadium and affectionately 'The Q'. Bids for the naming rights are currently being accepted and the selected name will remain through December 2018.
While SDSU in conjunction with the City of San Diego and Fox Sports College Properties are expected to accept high bids from local casinos, telecomm and utility companies, a local startup is offering a compensation package valued in excess of $1,500,000 consisting of services offered to SDSU students.
The startup, Traction Video, offers viral marketing video production services to new businesses and startups in the San Diego region. Traction Video is offering services valued at $1,500,000 to produce launch videos for 10 new SDSU student ventures and startups.
We ask that you support this cause to directly benefit local small business and SDSU academics in lieu of competing bids with lump sum proceeds from large enterprises for the naming rights of the former Qualcomm Stadium.
Traction Video Stadium will directly allow SDSU athletics to benefit SDSU academics and student ventures. Please lend your support for this initiative.
