We want to offer an option of virtual labs for students who don't feel comfortable going back to campus while the rest of learning is virtual. 

Many students are immunocompromised or have vulnerable family members, or simply don't feel safe being exposed to the virus when it's been deemed unsafe for the rest of classes to continue

We understand that in person labs enhance the quality of the class and help learn the material, but it simply isn't safe at a time when many other science classes are chosing not to have labs in person, and cases are reaching upwards of 40,000 a day in Los Angeles.
