We, the students of the University of Hull, believe that it is fair that we receive compensation for the 14 day loss of our education. The annual costs of tuition is £9250 for 160 days of education. When £9250 is divided by 160 academic days this gives a figure of £57.81 a day. Which means Students at Hull are losing £57.81 for every day staff strike, coming to a total figure of £809.34 lost as a result of strike action.
Because of this we, the students of University of Hull want to be compensated £809.34 for the total of 14 days that staff strike.
