Compensate Students for Strike Action - University of Leicester

We, the students of University of Leicester, believe it to be fair and just that we are compensated for our loss of paid-for education in accordance with the upcoming strikes.
The upcoming strikes have been forecasted for a period of 14 days over the period of February and March. We have calculated using 24 weeks of 5 days is 120 days of paid education. This equates to approximately £77.08 per day of tuition. And ultimately a loss of £1079.17 in paid tuition if strike action occurs on all 14 days.
Whilst we fully respect the decision of University staff to strike, it still remains that the students be compensated for their loss.
