The AC210 Exams have previously been online, due to COVID-19. Recently, the University of Alabama has been getting less and less strict with COVID regulations. Due to this, the third and final exam was changed to an in-person exam.  This change is unfair to the students enrolled in this class because it is arguably the most important exam of the semester and some students are still not fully comfortable in the COVID-19 learning environment. None of the students in the class came into this semester knowing that there would be an in-person test. This caused some students' families to choose to travel home or other places around these dates and an in-person exam would jeopardize these plans. Very few students have even been notified about the exam change which is also an entire syllabus change. Not only have students not been notified, which is against the syllabus itself, but they have also not been given a legitimate reason to change the exam. This change on the final exam is also very jarring for students as preparation for it will have to change completely from what it was on the other two exams. On top of all of these reasons, this decision was made after the date to drop with a W.
