Sean Feeney started this petition to Professor Isaac Elking and leadership of the SCM program at UHD - College of Business

The impacts of the CoVID-19 outbreak have been far-reaching and previously unimaginable. With the world around us changing at a breakneck pace, students are still trying to complete their educations and make the most of their opportunities to better themselves through this degree program. The "shelter-in-place" mandate has created chaos in an otherwise conducive study environment. Between caring for family members young and old, providing for our communities in areas deemed "essential" by the government, and keeping up with school work, previous policies around test-taking must be updated to reflect the current realities in which your students must operate.

Therefore, we believe an open-book policy for this and potentially future tests would behoove the entire student population. Not only would it test students on the course-specific information, but also a student's ability to use the given resources to their maximum potential and apply it correctly. Additionally, it would demonstrate understanding on the part of UHD leadership for the students for whom they are not just teachers, but role models.
