Renee Anza started this petition to Procter & Gamble

With the new trend of chlorine and bleach free, organic feminine hygiene products. Doesn’t that make you wonder: “what was in my tampons, pads and panty liners that I have been using for most of my adult life, before this organic cotton ‘trend’?” Why was there chlorine bleach and other chemicals in these products in the first place!? “Natural cotton?” What type of “cotton” was the thousands of tampons, pads and panty liners that my Grandma, mom and I used made of before? If not natural then, synthetic? What kind of chemicals did you use that you thought was safe enough for a woman’s reproductive system? We want to know, what are the long term affects of having a chlorine infused cotton stick, or pad inserted into or placed close to a woman’s vagina? We all have heard about toxic shock syndrome, but what else aren’t you telling us about these ingredients? We deserve to know! If the findings are as terrible as we can imagine, being that we’re dealing with a company that knowingly used chemicals in their products that are to be used internally. We want full disclosure of the science, studies and testing proving the ingredients in Tampax’s products are safe for woman’s reproductive health OR removal of ALL non health complaint products from shelves.
