Private Schools: Give admissions to underprivileged children under RTE Act

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

I demand that the Right to Education Act, 2009 must be implemented throughout the nation with a real spirit. Children have never been on the political radar and remain deprived of their rights in most of the cases.

Section 13 of the Act clearly states that the private schools (where the RTE rules are applicable) must give admissions to 25% children from the disadvantaged groups and weaker sections in the neighbourhood. Only a handful of private schools comply with these rules today.

We must understand that if a child gets quality education timely, she is going to be an asset for our country in the coming years. Otherwise, she'll turn out to be a hapless individual.

Raise your voice. The future of our country belongs to the children. Help our kids in enjoying their rights!
