Alix Valentine started this petition to Priti Patel (Home secre) and
Wayne Couzens was found guilty of using his position to abduct, rape and murder Sarah Everard on March 3rd 2021
He was handed a life sentence but it has recently been reported he will still be able to claim 35% of his police pension
according to the home office “Pensions may only be forfeited once an officer has been convicted of an offence which has been carried out in connection with their police service, and that is regarded as serious enough to have resulted in a significant loss of public confidence”
he used his position to coerce Sarah into going with him and now, we as women are being told to be wary of plain clothes police officers, yet this is apparently not enough of a loss to public confidence.
This is NOT punishment enough!
