Students not having the freedom to exercise our right to a equal playing field. We would like to achieve freedom through being able to opt out of Student Success Time. Which leads to the student body to be more well rested and more prepared to start their day at school. Students would have to have A's, B's, and C's in all of their classes to be able to opt out. Last year we were able to opt out, which led most students to striving to be a better student;  which then led Dekalb High School to being a better school overall. For the student body as a whole to be better than we are now, we need the option to opt out. As well as the fact of Covid, it would reduce contact throughout the school making it a safer place for everyone as a whole. These are all reasons that we should be able to opt out of Student Success time, and make Dekalb High School a safer school, and help our school become better overall.
