Mr. Brennan has made the decision to lock all bathrooms for the first/last 10 minutes of class time every period, and in between bells during hall passing time. His reasoning for this is to prevent vandalism inside the bathrooms in which is a genuine issue. The problem is us students cannot tell our body’s when and when not to need to use the restroom. Not to mention the fact that if someone wants to vandalize a restroom then they will find a way, wether it be when they are open or not. we don’t see how closing the bathrooms for 20 mins a period will stop people from abusing the BASIC HUMAN RIGHT of the restroom. The policy of writing names and smiling for the camera is understandable, but closing the restroom? No that’s not okay, if we need to go we need to go.
