We students of RVCE recieved a circular from dean academics' office regarding commencement of offline lab  and final SEE examination for the fasttrack semester which are to be held offline from 14th sept 2020 . Every students along with their parents are very much concerned about this ongoing situation when india is breaking its own record in covid cases and is still going towards its peak.  we students along with our parents, keeping the whole circumstances in mind ,have summed up few problems and difficulties which are giving immense mental pressure to us and also to our parents :-

1.Most of the students are residing out of Karnataka and out of Banglore. Due to covid it is very risky to travel to Bangalore from there respective hometown which can be few 1000 km away from Bangalore for some students. There is an immense problem in transportation as local passenger trains and buses are not running till 30th sept in most of the parts of the states in country .

2.The whole process of offline lab conduction and  examination will last for 1 month as per the circular issued by the college. During this one month there is high risk for students to get infected with covid , this risk may cost of the life of students because they have to depend on others for food and accommodation which is not advisable during pandemic. Also corona virus is deadly for students with lungs disease and low immune power .

The college has already conducted internal exam online therefore considering all the above facts we request the authorities to issue directions to the college to conduct the Fastrack SEE through online mode which would be safer for both students and teachers.
