My peers and I are trying to get support for mandatory breaks during class. Currently, we take four classes a day, each class is 87 minutes, for a total of 348 minutes.  Please consider signing this petition in support of two mandatory 5 minutes breaks for students at Sarah E. Goode. Research is clear that students do better in school when their lives are affirmed, valued and when they learn from teachers who care about their emotional well being. COVID and systemic racism have changed so many things but our developmental needs have not changed. By signing this petition you will help to elevate our voices and help us to be heard.
