Having a Caribbean student association at a local high school to benefit the students.

My local high school, Monarch High, in Coconut Creek has a wide range of many different clubs and associations for students to take part in to express themselves, learn and volunteer.
However, being a student with a Caribbean background, myself, and many others included would love to be a part of a club/association where we could explore new ideas, situations, functions, and many more regarding the Caribbean Culture and Diaspora here in S. Florida.
With that being said, I’d like to propose starting an official “Caribbean Student Association” within Monarch High School. By creating this association, this gives hundreds of students the opportunity to be a part of a connected cultural organization regarding the islands of the Caribbean and in and around Florida. As well as giving students amazing opportunities to thrive. The association would also be given tons of support by the biggest CSA organization in Florida, with every college in Florida giving even more possibilities for both the students, and high school itself.
South Florida is home to many wonderful CSA organizations, so why not add another that could benefit a local high school for students to embrace and share their culture?
