National Grandparents Day has 3 distinct purposes:

1) To honor grandparents

2) To give grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children's children

3) To help children become aware of strength, information and guidance older people can offer

MCS has always done a great job celebrating Grandparents.  It is a very special day with mass, classroom tours, a book fair, and donuts.  Memories are made on this day, and it is unfortunate that we could lose another year of this fantastic tradition.  By signing this petition, you are stating you prefer to continue the traditional Grandparents Day at MCS.
