Here at Amherst Regional Middle School (ARMS) we have students who do not feel comfortable using gendered restrooms because they identify as something other than what they were assigned at birth.

We want to make sure everyone is comfortable using restrooms at ARMS, as using the bathroom comfortably is a right we should have.

For example, if we were to change only one bathroom of each gender, we would have made it way more accessible for everyone. People who identify as male or female will be able to have more options to use the bathrooms, and gender nonconforming/trans students will have a place they can us the restrooms without worry.

We want to get as many signatures as possible to convince Principal Diego Sharon and Superintendent Mike Morris to change some gendered bathrooms to gender neutral bathrooms, so everyone can use them.
