I suffered with a gambling addiction and as a result of this I wanted to take my own life. Gambling is sold as a leisure activity, something you do for fun and through choice. I crossed that invisible line of addiction. 

As a female suffering it was hard to get help and support. It is seen as a male dominated addiction. I have campaigned since 2014 for changes to makd it safe for everyone. 

You loose more than money. You loose selfesteem, self worth, confidence, homes, family's and too many people takd their own life as a direct result of gambling addiction. 

The industry make millions a week and do very little in thd way of support or advertising the dangers. 

They are normalising gambling to our kids. We will have a pandemic in years to come if advertising is not removed. 

I want to see gambling advertising off TV, radio and social media before 9pm. These products are adult products. They are all singing, all dancing, glamourizing gambling. Targeting the young and vulnerable with catchy theme tunes. Using celebrities to endorse the sites.
