Healthcare workers and care workers are public servants at the fore front of our country's battle against Covid-19. They are helping us tackle the problem never seen since WW2.

Family members of these key workers are clearly worried that they will be left reduced income from pension rather than regular salary. This wI'll affect them and their life chances significantly. 

It is only fair that government steps in to help frontline health care workers by guaranteeing full salary till the age of state retirement age if they pass away from contracting Corona virus/Covid-19 infection or related complications. This will ensure that these workers can concentrate on caring for patients while having full reassurance that government will take of their family.

You have, rightfully,  agreed to pay 80% of salaries for private sector workers. Some supermarkets are giving bonuses for coming to work.

This act will help health care workers and will be supported by general public who understand the need for this move. It will cement your image that you care for those in need at this testing times
