Stop Bill C-38 and split it into smaller bills

The budget bill is about more than dollars and cents. Bill C-38 contains too many elements that should not be approved in one bill, such as the following:
- abolishing the Fair Wages and Hours of Labour Act, which will reduce people's wages;
- changing employment insurance to force people to accept unsuitable positions;
- deleting 280,000 immigration applications; and
- giving U.S. federal agents jurisdiction in Canada.

This article summarizes the key points: http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2012/05/22/pol-list-budget-bill-changes.html.

Please support this petition and write your MP asking him/her to vote no on the bill. According Tory MP David Wilks, who also feels this bill should be split, we only need 13 Tory MPs to vote against the bill to be successful.

Please share this petition with everyone you know.

Thank you.

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Canadian MPs.

Vote against Bill C-38 and split it into smaller bills

I believe the upcoming omnibus Bill C-38 contains too many elements that should not be approved in one bill, such as the following:
- abolishing the Fair Wages and Hours of Labour Act, which will reduce people's wages;
- changing employment insurance to force people to accept unsuitable positions;
- deleting 280,000 immigration applications; and
- giving U.S. federal agents jurisdiction in Canada.

The media and government officials have had limited time to thoroughly analyze the elements and ramifications. Please support Canadians' wishes by splitting this Bill into logical pieces instead of rushing to pass massive legislation.

Sincerely,
