Green MP for Sannich-Gulf Islands, Elizabeth May recently revealed that "credible sources" informed her that the Conservative Canadian Government is discussing plans to merge Environment Canada with the Ministry of Natural Resources, which Prime Minister Harper flatly denied. Given the federal government's recent history of gutting environmental regulations through omnibus bills, such a move isn't out of the realm of possibility with this government. Tell the Prime Minister and the federal government to keep Environment Canada and Natural Resources as separate entities. Let's not tolerate further erosion of Canada's environmental protection!

Given the federal government's recent history of gutting environmental regulations through omnibus bills, such a move isn't out of the realm of possibility with this government. It is crucial that Environment Canada and Natural Resources remain as separate entities. Let's not allow further erosion of Canada's environmental protection!
