The constitution of India especially article 21 guarantees liberty to every individual, and thus a person's liberty should not be curtailed without due course of law, but succumbing to vote bank politics the government filed review petition against the previously pronounced safeguards implemented by the Apex court in order to avoid misuse of prevention of atrocities act, as per data and news published in economic times there were more than 8500 false or wrong cases filed in 2016,and dear citizens just tell what's wrong if there is provision of preliminary enquiry measures and provision of anticipatory bail if the case prima facie seems to be groundless?Does non dalits do not have fundamental right to live with dignity in our own country?But such arbitrary and barbaric measures with great potential of misuse against civilians(not terrorist) deserved to be amended, whenever there is employer-employee dispute, any civil dispute, other disputes, or to threaten a genuine complaint,the provisions of this act is misused which the petitioner had himself seen in many cases,you may also have seen it, if the police machinery is impartial then even IPC is enough to protect all masses otherwise such high-handed statues becomes a tool for extortion and suppression, We want India to be a secure place for every single citizens and not just the liberty and dignity be availed to few,but this fact is ignored blatantly those who want vote at the cost of our liberal lives, who will wipe the stigma and pain that had been caused to a citizen falsely implicated under this law? Now a days even rich and powerful also misuse this act by playing a victim card, we don't say to scrap it completely but why not proper safe guards be available against it's potential misuse through proper amendment,so that rich politicians, governments officers could not misuse it, and like any other law it should have a discretion for bail to the magistrate or Judge. In today's metropolitan and cosmopolitan areas nobody targets each other for caste but here it is misused and in interiors of rural areas where there are atrocities,their the enforcement is weak, so a proper amendment may be brought with proper considerations to geographical prone areas and also bail may be granted in cases where disputes existed between the parties, hope the democracy of our country prevails for all citizens in letter and spirit.Jai hind!
