In the Middle of the New Providence Amateur Baseball Leagues 2006 season, the Andre Rodgers Baseball Stadium was torn down with the promise that it would be rebuilt in two years, well its been eleven years now, the lost of hundreds of young local baseball players who are longing to play the sport of baseball again, there is no standard size baseball diamond in Nassau, New Providence for Senior League Baseball, with the rich history of baseball in the Bahamas, this is a crying shame not to have a baseball stadium in Nassau, we did well with local young men in the sport of baseball, From Andre Rodgers making it to the Major Leagues of Baseball in 1957 with the New York Giants the second player from the Caribbean to do so, to Antoan Richardson 2014 with the New York Yankees, scoring the winning run on Dereck Jeter's last Major League at bat, and RBI, (This is Inhumane) Can You Help Local Baseball with a Baseball Diamond Please!!!
