Medical Education in Pakistan in Private Sector is very costly. There is lack of doctors in Pakistan and Public Sector institutes are not producing enough doctors for a 200 Million population of Pakistan. According to international standards, it is an obligation that around 2 doctors, 1 dentist and 8 nurses should be taking care of 1,000 people. According to official documents, around 1 Lakh, 45 thousand 797 doctors, 10,693 dentist and 55,165 nurses have been registered in the country.

This means there is shortage of around 250'000 MBBS Doctors and 190'000 BDS Doctors in Pakistan, to meet international standards of healthcare. Public Sector Institutes have limited seats.

Private Medical Colleges are overcharging and most people can't afford medical education there. It is prayed that the FEES OF PRIVATE MEDICAL COLLEGES PER ANNUM MAY PLEASE BE FIXED AT 600'000 PKR so that its affordable and the Pakistani People get Medical Treatment as per WHO Directives.
