With all respect, we would like to put forward a concern that about 70% of health care workers and students from overseas are currently facing a critical situation of being apart from loved ones for months or even more than a year. Understanding that the pandemic has caused a lot of unexpected changes globally, it has also affected New Zealand's current status. But being separated from family including the kids is giving birth to situations affecting both physically and psychologically. 

Why is it important?

    New Zealand is a country which highly considers family relationship more valuable which is one of the most specific attractions to come and live here. Every year there are hundreds travelling here with a handful of dreams either to study or work. But waiting for long to reunite with family is depressing a lot and many people are even thinking to quit and go back to home country. A lot of effort has been taken by each and everyone to reach here and quitting because couldn't just be with family is such a bad feeling. 

Please do consider this petition as a request Honorable Prime Minister from the deep heart of each one of us who is sighing this petition and bring changes to the visa process ( work visa, student visa, residency, partnership visa) as soon as possible. Hope you will understand our state of depression and hopelessness if you put your feet in our shoes.
