Velen Nullatamby started this petition to Prime minister of Mauritius and

I hereby with this petition to be able to save our small businesses, and also raise young talented student voice. Since the beginning of the confinement on the 18th of March, a lot of businesses have stopped operating and the MRA came with a system where a full-time student could not apply. however, I want to highlight the main points below to the government :
1. Some student is not financially dependant on their parents and is able to manage to operate an informal business and follow appropriate courses in their respective university.
2. Some student who manage to have a part-time job such as freelancer ( dancers, singers, photography), and some who work in supermarkets during the weekend as helper or cashier, some who manage to have a part-time job in their free time.
3) businesses who are at risk too, Event Organizer who have workers as part-timers.

Those students who are targeted are those who are officially registered as a student in any of the tertiary education and also ;
1)  some student have a BRN ( business registration number); or
2) own companies; or
3) payslip as part-timers in a working sector; or
4) recommendation letter from companies specifying the position the student occupies before the lockdown and the amount of net pay received recently

this petition is to give a special allocation to those students who currently struggling to live with the lockdown, support from the government will be grateful and supportive to those artists and also those owners or informal workers who are a student.

Also, the government should consider more the next generation of work labour of the country.
